Civic Involvement Conference, organized by the CIP (Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects) with the support of Sabancı University, one of the most successful universities in placing concepts such as social awareness and volunteering in the lives of young people, was organized for the second time this year.
Alper Akça,the founder coordinator of Girls Without Barriers (Kızlar Atakta) project, represented Alternative Life Association in the conference. He explained about the main structure of the volunteer system that has been strengthened and developed continuously as well as the processes that the motion-winning project had göne through with the contribution of voluntary entrepreneur women of Kızlar Atakta, which started in 2015.
The “Women in Business Association Working with Young People” themed panel was moderated by Jülide Erdoğan, the general director of TOG. The speakers of the panel were Çiğdem Kayalı, the marketing manager of Microsoft Office Turkey and Melisa Soran, the Project coordinator of SEÇBİR.
